What a work order adds
Section titled “What a work order adds”The first pages repeat the quotation, titled “Work Order” with its number (WO-001, WO-002 and so on, numbered per client). When a contract applies, it is named on the line “Contract”. Then come two sections:
- Scope of Work: the title, Deliverables, Not Included, Acceptance Criteria, the inputs Leeway needs from you, Focal Points, Timeline and Invoices.
- Approval: your approver and Leeway’s lead, each with name, date and signature.
The payment schedule
Section titled “The payment schedule”Each work order carries a schedule of milestones, for example “50% on signature, 50% on acceptance”. The percentages always total 100%. The schedule is part of what you sign, and it drives the invoices. See Invoices and payments.
Accepting and signing
Section titled “Accepting and signing”- Open the work order link and read the PDF (Download PDF).
- Send questions with Send a comment, or Decline if the work order should not go ahead.
- Sign in one of two ways:
- Sign: when Leeway has sent the work order for electronic signature, the button opens the signing page on sign.leeway-im.com. See Electronic signature.
- Accept and Sign: otherwise, you enter your full name and sign in the browser, by drawing or typing your signature.
Signing approves the work order and shows a confirmation. The signed PDF is stored with it, and the first milestone invoice is issued.
